i realised at some point that SITM is really just the justifiable reason for breaking up with a really horrible person because your entire life you’ve been tricked into thinking this was love and so if you were to explain something that all the other abusers in your life do, ofc they won’t understand, but if the offending party does something like microwaving soup (as opposed to the proper way, on the stove top) is a break-uppable offence to the absolute lunatics in your life who don’t consider the fact he is a racist who yells at his dog break-uppable offences, but cooking soup in the microwave?? that’s a no-go.
