because getting to live out all of my hobo dreams has been a great way of parsing out who is worthy to be on my journey and who gets left behind – i will give you a hint – most people get left behind.
My fave diss was when i had a job and was making more money by far than i’ve EVER made before at an hourly corporate job and MAN let me tell you what a fucking bummer it was when you thought someone who was cool was actually very uncool.
they were shocked with how aaaanyone can survive on that little amount of money and it’s like idk i guess i grew up ridiculously poor and didn’t know it and instead of it being a bummer it was very helpful in me being able to be Mr Brightside on so many things, but more importantly gave me the power of imagination and creativity (which is soon to pay off for me, i know it.)
but in the meantime, when i explain that i do as many free activities as i can, and then i “stack” as many things as possible, so a car ride to errands is obviously errands but it is also my personal mini-photography trip while rocking out and/or rapping, taking in all the signs and scenes to paint later, and because driving and music is my fave moving meditation to do i also get to do a lot of processing stuff and can cry as much as i want because 1 sunglasses and 2 traffic so ofc i’m going to be crying hahaha~
so really a trip to the store is also entertainment (save $$) therapy (save $$$$) photog for blog etc ($) and the dog gets all upset when i cry so i prefer crying out and about so that my dog doesn’t get disturbed and need dog therapy (more $$$ saved haha) So, i call it stacking, for lack of a cooler/catchier term. Knitting dishclothes is another great example of a stacktivity. (oh, what a great portmanteau, we will use that going forward)

but for real – after explaining all the ways that i adapt my life so that i am able to live off ~so little money and having the response be a disgusted face and a ‘wow that sounds fucking awful’ – i don’t have space in my life for that type of negativity!!! so i met with that person one more time because they owed me money and then i was like well see you never~
